Final Lightsaber Papercraft
This is the final revision of the paper craft project, which- if you read my last blog post took awhile to assemble together due to a lot of trial and error. I ended up taking out a lot of details in the final revision, but I do believe one can tell that it is a lightsaber when they see it. So I'll take that as a win. All of my progress and though process can be shown in this one image of "what the hell is going on" Rhino print template: It's a little blurry, but you get the idea. The images below show the final print templates that were laser cut and then folded into the final piece. Rendered Versions of Lightsaber Model: One of the biggest flaw in my prototype design which was pointed out during the progress critique was the wobbliness on the top portion of the lightsaber. Although it still wobbles a bit, it is a lot sturdier than before. One thing I regret about this top section is how uneven and messy the gluing was. There was a lot of
